June Marie Crank Alexander, "Junemama", age 71 of Lewisville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014, peacefully in her home, surrounded by family. She was born February 20, 1943, in Texarkana, Arkansas. June was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lewisville and retired from the USDA Farm Service Agency after 25 years of service.

Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by her father, John William Crank; and her daughter-in-law, LaRhonda Alexander.

She is survived by her husband, of 52 years, Jerry Lee Alexander of Lewisville, AR; mother, Marie Crank of Stamps, AR; daughter, Misty Wright and husband, Russell of Lewisville, AR; son, John Alexander of Texarkana, AR; two granddaughters, Katie McAndrews and husband Jeff of Marshall, TX, and Haleigh Alexander of Texarkana, AR; grandson, Alex Wright of Lewisville, AR; two great grandchildren, Braxton Wright and Makensie McAndrews; two step great grandchildren, Jeffery and Bradley McAndrews; two sisters, Mary Nash and husband, Noel of West Fork, AR, and Ginger Haltom of Texarkana, AR; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many life-long friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR, with Rev. Ron Eldridge and Bro. W. Lee Ligans officiating. Online registration is available at www.aosmithfuneralhome.com .
