June Teague, age 72, of Walker Creek, AR, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017, at the Promise Hospital in Bossier City, LA.

Mrs. Teague was born June 2, 1944, in Taylor, Arkansas to J.W. and Bulah Bland. She was a member of the Forest Grove Baptist Church. She was known as "Meme" to all with open doors and good home cooking. She was unselfish and always took care of others first.


Mrs. Teague was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Berna Jane Charles.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Teague of Walker Creek, AR; daughter, Stephanie Hartsfield and husband Dicky of Taylor, AR; grandchildren, Robert "Bubba" Snider and wife Jessica, Crystal Hall and husband Blake, all of Taylor, AR; great- grandchildren, Abigail Hall, Bennett Snider, Wylie and Wyatt Hill ; and special niece and nephew Elizabeth Scott and John Picket III.

A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 10:00AM at Mars Hill Cemetery in Mars Hill, AR, with Rev. Todd Pickard officiating, under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be held, Monday, May 15, 2017 from 5:30PM until 8:00PM at the Taylor Chapel. Jim Bland, Matthew Barnard, Josh Vines, Mike Whitehead, Mikie Whitehead and Robert Darrell Fitzgerald will serve as Pallbearers. Johnny Pickett, Wayne Abbott and Barney Jones will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
