Kasey Renae Goodwin, age 25 of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at her home. She was born March 14, 1991 in Texarkana, Texas to Charlie and Kay Goodwin. Kasey had a strong love for her church and was passionate about working with the children of First Baptist Church in Stamps. She enjoyed teaching the children each Sunday and felt called to this ministry. She had a love of Southern Gospel music and knew the words to all of the songs in her collection. She had special memories of traveling to the National Quartet Convention. Kasey packed a lot of living in her short 25 years despite her many health challenges.

Kasey was preceded in death by her mother, Kay Goodwin and grandfather, James Goodwin.

She is survived by her father, Charlie Goodwin of Stamps, AR; grandparents, Doris Goodwin of Stamps, AR and Roger and Margaret Nutt of Crossett, AR; great grandmother, Lottie Croswell of Crossett, AR; uncle, Charles Vines of Stamps, AR; two aunts, Stephanie Pratt of Strong, AR and Beth Nutt of Little Rock, AR; cousins, Benjamin Pratt, Caroline Pratt and Natalie Pratt all of Strong, AR; and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, March 25, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Stamps, AR with Bro. Mike Turner officiating and assisted by Shaun Dierksen. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps. Pallbearers will be Jerry Cheatham, Jeff Black, Mike Rowe, Bill Sprinkle, Copie Dickson and Benjamin Pratt. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Stamps or the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
