Larry Dean "Buddy" Higgins, age 74 of Stamps, Arkansas, passed way Monday, August 31, 2015 at his home. Mr. Higgins was born April 11, 1941 in Columbia County, Arkansas to Chester and Annie Mae Higgins. He was a veteran and a retired truck driver.

Mr. Higgins was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Sarah Higgins.

He is survived by his son, Timmey Higgins and wife, Susan McClure of Lewisville, AR; four sisters, Kathryan Dodson and Dorothy Moore both of Magnolia, AR; Jeanne Modisette and husband, Harold of Reno, AR; and Vera Camp and husband, Donnie of Taylor, AR; one grandson, Patrick Higgins of Magnolia, AR and one special sister-in-law, Elaine Esters of Stamps, AR.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Shiloh Cemetery in Buckner, AR with Bro. John Force officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, AR. Online registration is available at www.aosmithfuneralhome.com.
