Lawrence Edward Adkison, 86, of Hope, Arkansas passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, in Texarkana, Texas. Lawrence was born on February 1, 1939, to W M and Lanie Adkison. He enjoyed being a Scout Leader of the Boy Scouts, working and most importantly, enjoyed watching the grandchildren play ball. Lawrence faithfully attended First Assembly of God in Hope, Arkansas.
Preceded in death by his parents, W M and Lanie Adkison; his spouse, Kathrine (Cox) Adkison; and his brother, Arnold Adkison.
Survived by son, Rick D. Adkison (Anna) of Hope, Arkansas; daughter, Cindy Hill (Kenny) of Blevins, Arkansas; grandchildren, Zachary W. Adkison and Kasie Sloan; great grandchildren, Raylee Adkison, Braiden Harrison, and Buc Sloan; caregiver and special friend, Charlotte Mulholland; and a great many friends that will miss him dearly.
There will be a graveside service held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 10:00 am at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Bradley, Arkansas, with Rev. Jimbo Manning officiating. Services are under the direction of A O Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas.
