Obituary

Lenora Cook, age 92, of Stamps, Arkansas went into the Kingdom of Heaven on Tuesday, February 04, 2020.  She was born October 13, 1927 in Stamps, Arkansas.  During her lifetime, she was a member of Mary McSwain Sunday School Class, instrumental in the foundation of The Sunshine School for the mentally challenged and a member of the Stamps Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edna and George F. Baker, husband, Cecil Ed Cook and son, Frank Scroggins.

Lenora is survived by her son, George Scroggins of Stamps, grandson, Mike Scroggins and wife, Nikki of Shreveport, LA, great-granddaughters, Maggie, Hannah, Lyndsey, Molly and Emma, stepson, Richard Cook of Dallas, TX, daughter in law, Brenda Scroggins of Stamps, and many special friends.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the Southern caregivers for the care of Mrs. Cook and also for Encompass Health Care.

Graveside services will be held at 11AM Friday, February 7, 2020 at Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps with Bro. John Noggle officiating under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes.  Visitation will be from 9:30AM-10:45AM the day of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stamps Methodist Church, PO Box 366, Stamps, AR  71860.
