Leon Durayne Richeson, 88, of Odessa, Texas, formerly of Taylor, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, in Odessa, TX.  Mr. Richeson was born to Leon and Nitice (Clary) Richeson on November 12, 1936, in Atlanta, TX. He retired from the logging industry.

Leon is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Johnette (Higdon) Richeson; son, Paul Richeson; and sisters, June Taylor, and Nadine Richeson.

Mr. Richeson is survived by son, Mark Richeson and wife, Susan of Midland, TX; grandchildren, Jake Richeson and Sydney Lavespere, and husband Gabe; and great-grandson, Grant Lavespere.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 10, 2025, at11:00AM, at First Baptist Church, Taylor, AR, with Dr. Randy Wilson, officiating.  Interment will follow at Sharman Cemetery, under the direction of A O Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, AR.

Visitation will be at the church, Monday beginning at 10:00AM until service time.
