Leslie Higgins,age 53, of Taylor, Arkansas, passed away at 1:51 p.m. Wednesday May 17, 2023, at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia, Arkansas. Leslie was born on February 2, 1970, to William Alvis Kirkpatrick and Jackie (Britt) Kirkpatrick. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Taylor Arkansas. Leslie was a very loving person. Leslie's most important thing in life was her family. She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, W A and Jackie Kirkpatrick; two grandchildren, Zoey Claire and Baby M.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, William Paul Higgins of Taylor, Arkansas; her children, Jacob Higgins and Blair Matlock (Jarred Matlock); a brother, William Dane Kirkpatrick; grandchildren, Gage Matlock, Asher Matlock, and Skylin Matlock; a very special lady who was like a sister, Lisa Bland; and a whole host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Robby Kirkpatrick, Bryan Kirkpatrick, Dane Kirkpatrick, Douglas Higgins, Jeremy Bland, and Richard Blake. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cody Higgins and Cody Chishom.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 20, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Walkers Creek, Arkansas with Bro. Joseph Stacks and Dr. Randy Wilson officiating under the direction of A O Smith Funeral Home of Stamps, Arkansas. Followed by burial at Taylor Cemetery Taylor, Arkansas.

There will be a visitation on Friday May 19, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Forest Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Walkers Creek, Arkansas.
