Leta Mae Fitzgerald, age 55, of Taylor, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Springhill Medical Center. She was born to Waymon and Amoleta Wallis Nix in Malvern, Arkansas on November 5, 1959. Leta was a loving wife and mother to her beloved family.

She was preceded in death by her Father.

She is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, Alfred Fitzgerald of Taylor; Son, Reece Fitzgerald of Taylor; Mother Amoleta Nix of Magnolia; Sister Tonya Nix of Magnolia; four Brothers, Wayne Nix and wife Racheal of Camden, Lynn Nix and wife Kim of Camden, Donnie Nix of Springdale, and Steven Nix and wife Mandy of Monroe; three brother-in-laws, Milton Fitzgerald of Walker Creek, Douglas Fitzgerald, and Vernon Fitzgerald, both of Bussey. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Taylor with the Rev. Gladney Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the Bussey cemetery under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the funeral home in Taylor.
