Lillian Ora (Weems) Berry, 93 of Springhill, LA passed away Friday, June 12, 2015 at her home. She was born April 24, 1922 to Will Oran and Ollie (Teutsch) Weems in Bradley, Arkansas.
Mrs. Berry was a retired Wal-Mart associate, but had worked numerous places in her life. She had worked for Martin's Café, The Landing, Fred's and Otasco during her working career.
She was a hard worker all her life and always had a smile on her face and a big hello for everyone. She enjoyed working outdoors keeping her yard up and gardening. She loved spending time with her family. She loved the Lord and was a longtime member of Stateline Baptist Church at Lake Erling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charley J. Berry; and a daughter, Kitty Ruth Patterson, five brothers, Andrew Harvel, Joe Carl, Thomas Ray, Oran Weems, two sisters; Susie and Betty Sue. Numerous nieces and nephews also preceded her in death.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Lou Hughes and husband Paul J. of Springhill, LA; Her grandchildren, Natasha L. Gray of Bossier City, LA, Patrick Patterson and wife Cheryl of El Dorado, AR, Michael Patterson and wife, Patricia of Hampton, AR. Her Great Grandchildren; Nathan Gray & Scarlet Gray of Bossier City, LA. Tyler Patterson and Hope Patterson of El Dorado, AR. McKayla Patterson and Gracie Patterson of Hampton, AR.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Berry will be held Monday, June 15, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Stateline Baptist Church at Lake Erling. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The Reverend Tommy Weems will officiate.
Visitation for Mrs. Berry will be held Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Lewis Funeral Home in Springhill, LA. Services are under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home of Stamps, Arkansas. On line registration is available at www.aosmithfuneralhome.com
