Mrs. Lillian Williams, our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, auntie and sister went home to be with our Heavenly father and Lord Jesus Christ Monday, June 27, 2016 at the age of 97. Sister Williams was born Nov. 7, 1918 to Sam and Emma Nelson of Jefferson, TX.

Sister Lillian moved to Kiblah, AR as a child of about nine years of age when both of her parents went home to be with the Lord.

Sister Lillian became a member of New Hope Baptist Church at an early age.

On May 14, 1937 Sister Lillian married Fred Williams and to this union was born seven sons and five daughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Emma Nelson, her Husband Fred Williams and seven siblings, two sons, Clarence Williams
& Freddie B. Williams; one daughter, Archie Lean Williams.

Her memory will be cherished by her two sisters: Norsie Clemons of Midland, TX and Fannie Miles of Los Angeles, CA; five sons: Odell Abraham of Texarkana, TX, Cleavin Williams (Herise) of Texarkana, AR,
Louis Williams of Kiblah, AR, Walter Williams of Texarkana, TX, Perry L. Williams (Sherri) of Texarkana, TX and four daughters: Betty Jean Ross (Lawrence) of Northridge, CA, Emma Jean Darden of Texarkana, TX, Mary Blackwell (Ovid) of Texarkana, AR, Carol Regina Cummings of Texarkana, AR, daughter in law: Shirley Williams of Saginaw MI and (47)grandchildren,(125)great grandchildren and 66 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 1p.m. at New Hope
Baptist Church, Doddridge, AR with Pastor Perry L. Williams officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery, Kiblah Community, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
