Linda Ann Nix Baker, 81, of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Friday, April 7. 2023 in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was born November 11, 1941, in Stamps, Arkansas to Dayton and Oma Altom Nix. She retired from Arkla Gas. She enjoyed crocheting baby blankets, cooking, playing piano and being around friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Doyle Baker, her parents and one sister Becky Smith.

She is survived by one son, David Baker and wife Jamie of El Dorado, Arkansas. One daughter LaDonna Baker and husband Pepe Rodriguez of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Four grandchildren, Breana Downs and husband Blake of Norphlet, Arkansas, Kaylin Matejek and husband Dylan of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, Owen Brown and Mia Brown, both of El Dorado, Arkansas. Two great-grandchildren, River Downs and Maren Matejek.

Memorial services will be held 11A.M. Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the A.O. Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, with Bro. Mike Turner officiating, under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes.

Visitation will be from 10A.M. to 11A.M. Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sardis Cemetery Fund or St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
