Linda Joyce Conlin, age 86, of Stamps, AR passed away August 7, 2020 at her home.

Ms. Conlin was born November 19, 1933 in Columbia County, AR to Curtis and Glendolia Dodson Barton. Linda was a longtime member of the Stamps Church of Christ.

She attended Draughon School of Business in Little Rock, AR and became the bookkeeper for Barton Hardware and Christie Motor Company in Lewsiville AR. Later she worked with her husband Pat at Conlin Paint and Body in Stamps. After several years of close ties to Stamps Schools, she became a teacher's aide at the Stamps Elementary School. With a desire to serve the community, Linda became a councilwoman for the city of Stamps and later became Mayor and served until she suffered a brain aneurysm. Even after severe setbacks, she continued to know, love and support her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Pat Conlin, one daughter Patti Lynn Conlin, one son Chris Conlin and one grandson Christopher Duvall.

Linda is survived by her daughter Cathy Conlin Duvall of Stamps, AR and one sister Margie Chastain of Lewisville, AR.

The family extends a special thank you to Encompass Hospice for their compassionate and dedicated care of our loved one.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 10, 2020 at the Lakeside Cemetery Pavilion with Chaplain Sidney Melton officiating under direction of A. O. Smith Funeral Homes. There will not be a visitation.

The family requests all guest wear a mask or face covering during the service.
