Obituary

Mrs. Linda Faye "Lucy" Minniefield , 59, of Taylor, AR passed away May 18th at her home, surrounded by family

She was born September 30, 1954 in Mckamie, AR to O.D. and Dorothy Mae Lewis-Reynolds.

She was a graduate of Taylor High School after attending eight years at C.S. Woodard and later retired as a bus driver for Taylor Public School System, flowing the foot steps of her father and grandfather. A member of the St. Jonah Baptist Church in Taylor, AR., serving as a choir member, an usher, president of Future Generation, and treasure of the Mission.

She was a proud mother of three children, family & friends were her passion & delight. She was very active , loving the outdoors, preferably in her flower beds.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, son; Shannon Minniefield, daughter; Shonda Minniefield

Survivors include: her daughter; Mrs. April Lambert (Kevin) and son; Brandon Minniefield both of Taylor, AR. Five sisters; Mrs. Ruby Landers , Ms. Lonnie Reynolds, & Mrs. Rosie Johnson (Harold) all of Taylor, AR. Mrs. Opal Martin (Larry) of Magnolia, AR. And Mrs. Pamela McGill (Percy) of Cullen, LA. Two brothers; Wayne Reynolds of Cullen, LA. And John Reynolds of Stamps, AR. Six grandchildren (Jasmyn, Saniya, Kiley, Kaleb, Chloe, & kynleigh. A Special great-niece; Ms. Breanna Reynolds, a special friend like sister; Mrs. Anita Hawthorne, Numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 24th at 10:am at St. Paul Baptist Church in Taylor, AR with burial following in the Blackmon Cemetery in Stamps, AR. Under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Stamps. Officiating will be her son Rev. Earl Gipson
Visitation will be Friday 5-7:pm at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Taylor, AR
