Lisa "Diane" Brent, age 51 of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Ms. Brent was born October 9, 1965 in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was a Corrections Officer at LaSalle Bowie County Correctional Center.

Ms. Brent was preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine Brent; and grandparents, Frank and Alma Brent, and James and Aurelia Scott.

She is survived by her father, Ray Brent of Hope, AR; son, James Brent of Stamps, AR; two sisters, Joyce Camp and husband, Daniel of Atlanta, TX and Sharon Smith of Hope, AR; one granddaughter, Bailey Brent of Camden, AR; and a number of other family members are left to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR with Rev. Jerry Goodson officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Bradley, AR. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Friday, November 25, 2016 at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
