Lonnie Ray Rogers, 78, of Stamps, Arkansas passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 at his home. Lonnie was born March 28, 1942 in Nashville, Arkansas to Joseph and Lucille Limley Rogers. He made his living working for Alumax in the "Specials Department". Lonnie retired from Alumax after thirty-plus years. He was a founding member of Stamps Missionary Baptist Church. Lonnie loved the great outdoors, where he deer hunted often, but as time went on you could always find him fishing. He believed that one man's junk was another man's treasure. He loved to take things that were broken and make them useful again.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five siblings, and daughter, Deborah Ann Barton.

Lonnie is survived by his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Shirley Rogers of Stamps, AR; one son, Michael Ray Rogers and wife, Traci of Hope, AR; one daughter, Dana Gayle Phillips and husband, Samuel of Buckner, AR; four grandchildren, Shane Vickers of Stamps, AR, Daniel Barton of Washington, AR, Colten Rogers of Edmond, OK and Savannah Bobsin of Rogers, AR; seven brothers and sisters all of Texas, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2PM, Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Bro. Bo Murphy officiating.

Masks will be mandatory.
