Lorene Vines, age 91, of Buckner, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Mrs. Vines was born July 16, 1923 in Falcon, Arkansas to Charlie and Irene Brown. She enjoyed the fellowship at the Senior Citizens Center and was a loving mother and grandmother who always made people feel welcome. Mrs. Vines was a member of Falcon Church of Christ.

Mrs. Vines was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, L.C. Vines, Jr. and second husband, Moody Bridges; three brothers; two sisters; and grandchild, Charlie Vines.

She is survived by her son, Norman Jackie Vines of Hampton, AR; two daughters, Linda Vines Fore and Joel Clouse of Buckner, AR and Julia Halter and husband, Steve of DeQueen, AR; a special niece, Diana Stock and husband, Bill of Stamps, AR; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and special running buddy, Martiel Thomas.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR with Bro. John Gunter and Bro. Mickey May officiating. Interment will follow at Falcon Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps.
