Mrs. Lula Mae Lewis, 86, of Texarkana, TX, passed away August 8th at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, TX

She was born July 30, 1928 in Texarkana, TX to Roger and Eliza Perry-Jones.

Survivors include: her sons & daughter-in-laws; Rev. Robert & Gwendolyn Lewis, Jr. of Chino, CA, Rev. Willie A. & Rosie Lewis. Jimmie Lewis, Willie G. Lewis all of Texarkana, TX. Dickey & Denise Lewis of Grand Prairie, TX, Charles Lewis of Richmond, VA. Her daughters & son-in-law; Mrs. Bertha Walker & Mrs. Carrie Sims both of Los Angeles, CA., Mrs. Frances Trice of Texarkana, TX, Mrs. Marie Johnson of Aurora, CO., Mrs. Eliza Woodside & husband Calvin of Nash, TX., Ms. Esther Lewis of Shreveport, LA. Sixty-Three grandchildren, ninety-four great-grandchildren, & twenty-six great great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 16th , at 11:a.m. at the New Zion Baptist Church in Texarkana, TX with burial following in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens in Wake Village, TX. Under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps, AR. Officiating will be Rev. Melvin Glover

Visitation will be 4:-6:pm Friday, August 15th , at New Zion Baptist Church, 1901 Charlestine Dr. Texarkana, TX.
