Mr. Luther Miller, 94 of Conroe TX formerly of Stamps passed away peacefully in Conroe TX on Monday November 5, 2018.  He was born to Mr. Pledger and Mrs. Nellie Tyler Miller on April 10. 1924, he was the youngest of three sons, both brothers and his parents preceded him in death.
Mr. Miller was a loving husband to Mrs. Constance Miller for 63 years before she preceded him in death in 2011, an honored, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  He was an employee of Arkansas Power and Light (Entergy) the Harvey Couch Plant for thirty three years.  He served as a Deacon and Trustee for the Buchanan Baptist Church until his departure from the area.
Mr. Miller is survived by his daughter, Sandra and her husband Larry Steward of Benton Harbor MI, son Michael and his wife Toni Miller of Conroe, TX.  Two grandchildren, Allen Miller of Houston TX and Danielle Miller of Conroe TX and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The service for Mr. Miller will be held at Buchanan Baptist Church, 414 Magnolia Street Stamps, AR Saturday November 17, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. where Pastor Charles Smith will serve as Officiant and Eulogist.  The final and parting viewing will be done prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M.  Mr. Miller will receive Naval Military Honors and Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery #2 in Stamps, AR under the direction of the Staff of the A.O. Smith Funeral Home, 415 East First Street Stamps, AR.
Visitation will be at Smith Funeral Home Chapel on Friday November 16, 2018 from 1:00 until 5:00 P.M.
