Marilyn Virginia Brown, age 68, of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013. Mrs. Brown was born January 20, 1945, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, to Albert and Willie Lee Hawley.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard Lee Brown; sister, Betty Carol Leathers; and nephew, Robert Lee Brown.
She is survived by her son, Tory Joe Gray and wife, Leigh Ann from Rosston, AR; four daughters, Sherri Lynn Brown of Greenfield, IN; Diane DeWitt and husband, Rick of Noblesville, IN; Shenna Covington and husband, David of Buckner, AR; and Linda Thornton and husband, Jeff of Magnolia, AR; son-in-law, Rodney Dudley of Stamps, AR; two brothers, Sonny Gentry and wife, Peggy of Morristown, IN; and Rick Hawley and wife, Chelsea of Genoa, AR; brother-in-law, Stephen Leathers; two sisters, Wilma Sullivan and Ann Goodner both of Stamps, AR; two aunts, Nellie Hillary of Prescott, AR; and Christine Hawley of Magnolia, AR; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2013, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR, with Bro. Andy Hawkins officiating. Online registration is available at www.aosmithfuneralhome.com.
