Marilyn Kay Cannon, age 72 of Taylor, Arkansas, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017. Ms. Cannon was born December 15, 1944 in San Diego, California to Eugene and Gladys Richardson. She was a member of Forest Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Taylor.

Ms. Cannon was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Bret Cannon; and brother, Mike Richardson.

She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Bailey of Taylor, AR and Jonnette Whitley and husband, Gary also of Taylor; sister, Pat Hall and husband, Gerald of Benbrook, TX; and six grandchildren, Zach Taylor and wife, Rachel of Huntsville, TX; Brody Whitley of Nash, TX; Cole Bailey of Minden, LA; Kyla Cannon of Philadelphia, PA; Kaitlyn Cannon of Magnolia, AR; and Lanie Whitley of Taylor, AR.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 1, 2017 at Forest Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Taylor, AR with Bro. Joseph Stacks officiating. Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the church. Arrangements were made by A.O. Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR.
