Martha Jean Phillips, 93, passed away at her home in Waldo, Arkansas on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. She was born in Stamps, Arkansas on May 28, 1930 to Bertha and Jasper Chastain.  Ms. Phillips was a homemaker throughout her life and enjoyed taking care of her family.

Preceding Ms. Phillips in death was her spouse, Howard Phillips; parents, Jasper and Bertha Chastain; sisters, Vernell Rogers and Geraldine Mitchell; brothers, Gober Chastain, Tilman Chastain, Larry Chastain and Mutt Chastain.

Left to carry on her memory is her son, Howard Scott Chastain of Waldo, Arkansas; and special friend, Linda Bridges.

Cremation services are provided by A O Smith Funeral Home of Stamps, Arkansas.
