Martha Pauline "Polly" Tatom, age 85, of Stamps, Arkansas passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at The Waters of Stamps. She was born in Garland, Arkansas on June 12, 1934 to Paul Stevens and Blanche Blankenship. Martha was a faithful member of Sardis Methodist Church.

Mr and Mrs Tatom enjoyed spending time at the lake on their house boat, and going to the Stamps High School football games on Friday nights.

Mrs. Tatom was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ozell Tatom of 68 years; brothers Bud Blankenship, Bobby Stevens; sister Hazel Garland.

She is survived by her sons: Terry (Cathy) Tatom, Steven Tatom of Stamps, Arkansas; daughters, Linda (Bruce) Alford of Lewisville, Arkansas, Penny (Arval) Cox of Buckner, Arkansas; brother, Mickey Stevens of Colorado; sisters, Patsy Tatom of Ashdown, Arkansas and Brenda Matthews of Stamps, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grand children. Numerous nieces and nephews and special friends; Pam Beaver, Cynthia Sterling and Latresa Parrish "Lil Mama".

The family would like to thank Home Stead Manor and Encompass Health.

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 12 noon and with the services following at 1 p.m. at A. O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps.  Eulogies will be delivered by Charlie Warren.  Graveside burial service at Sardis Cemetery to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the Tatom family requests donation be made to the Sardis Cemetery Association.
