Obituary

Mary Sue Etue, 83 of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025, at her home in Stamps. She was born on September 18, 1941, in Star City, Arkansas, to Sanders and Ruby Jewel Johnson. She worked as a shipping clerk at Falcon Products. She was a Baptist and was an avid reader and homemaker. She loved fishing and gardening, but mostly, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Theodore Pete Etue Sr. One daughter, Sheila Renea Etue. One infant son and other relatives and friends.

She is survived by three sons, Theodore P. Etue Jr., of Wilmar, Arkansas, Bruce Allen Etue of Stamps, Arkansas and Dewon Wayne Etue of Stamps, Arkansas. One daughter in law Twana Earline Etue of Wilmar, Arkansas. Two sisters, Ruby Etue of Star City, Arkansas and Barbara Ann Etue of Fordyce, Arkansas. Nine grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Visitation will be from 6P.M. until 8P.M. Wednesday, September 10, 2025, and the A.O. Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, Arkansas.

Graveside services will be 10A.M. Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Lakeside Cemetery will Bro. Adam Rogers officiating under direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes.
