Mary Jane Garrett, 75, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born on October 8, 1949, to Jessie and Juanita (Stone) Wilson in Texarkana, Texas.

Mrs. Garrett enjoyed Crocheting, going out in nature, having fun in general, and helping others.  She very much enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and visiting with her many friends, that began as customers, at Ed's Grocery in Bradley where she worked for many years.

Mrs. Garrett is survived by her husband, John Allen Garrett, III of Lewisville, AR; son, Tristian Cole Garrett of Lewisville, AR; daughter, Terri Lynn Garrett of Lewisville, AR;  grandchildren, John Allen Garrett, V and Brittany Garrett; great grandchildren, Bryson Couch, Brenly Jernagan, Braxton Jernagan, Evelyn Garrett, and Ricky "Bo" Garrett.  She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Jean Wilson, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, John Allen Garrett, IV; brother, Lee Owen Wilson; and sister, Joy McQuery.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Pleasant Valley Mennonite Church, with Deacon Kenall Sieler, Deacon Travis Koehn, and Deacon Merle Wedel officiating.  Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home, Inc of Stamps, AR.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Pleasant Valley Mennonite Church.

Honoring Mrs. Garrett as her pall bearers will be Tristian Garrett, John "Bubba" Garrett, V, Jake Jernagan, Tyson Isaac, Justin Pratt, and Clayton Pratt.
