Mary "Mickie" Clary Gore, 76, of Bradley, Arkansas went to be with her Savior on July 10, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She fought a long, brave battle for many years and God decided it was time to call her home. She was born in Canfield, Arkansas on August 25, 1938 to Odell and Deo Clary. Mickie and husband Travis have known each other most of their lives and spent 59 beautiful years together in marriage. They are the definition of true love, and have been by each other's side through sickness and in health. Their love story is an inspiration and their marriage set a wonderful example to all who know them. Together they were faithful supporters of all Bradley athletics and attended countless athletic functions. They enjoyed spending time at their cabin in Albert Pike, church activities, and everything their very active children and grandchildren were involved in. Mickie was an inspiration to many young girls as she served as drill team danceline, cheer, and pageant director for over 20 years. With her loving nature, she founded the M.I.S. (moms in school) program and led a women's jail ministry for several years. She was a member of Bradley Baptist Church where she served many years as a young married adult Sunday school teacher, youth training union teacher, as well as pianist. She was awarded the Bradley Chamber of Commerce Community Service Award in 2009. Mickie enjoyed visiting with her family and friends, helping others, teaching, reading mystery novels, and writing poetry, which included her annual Christmas scavenger hunts. Her love for the Lord was obvious as it showed through her unconditional love for everyone. She will be remembered by her family for her unique and lesson- teaching bed time stories, homemade pies, and her beautiful piano playing that touched everyone that ever heard her play. The family would like to thank her doctors, nurses, sitters, and friends who continued to care and pray for her through this journey.
