Mary Goodwin Jones, age 84, of Taylor, AR, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017, at the Springhill Medical Center, in Springhill, LA.

Mrs. Jones was born January 22, 1933, in Natchitoches, Louisiana to Edward and Marie (Grappe) Wallettee. She was a member of the Taylor First Baptist Church, which she enjoyed very much. Mrs. Jones also enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, James Goodwin and Billy Joe Jones; a son, Robert Goodwin; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Elledge and husband, Lynn of Magnolia, AR; sons, Charles Goodwin and wife, Mary, of Taylor, AR, and Andy Goodwin and wife Sherel of Taylor, AR; grandchildren, Michelle Milam, Katie Robertson, Brian Goodwin, and Cody Goodwin, 8 great- grandchildren; and a sister, Marie Elmore and husband, James, of Haynesville, LA.

Funeral Services will be held at Taylor First Baptist Church, in Taylor, AR, Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 10:00AM, with Dr. Randy Wilson officiating, assisted by Mr. Marc Pittman, Interment will follow at the Forest Grove Cemetery in Walker Creek, AR, under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be held, Friday, April 14, 2017 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at the Taylor First Baptist Church.

Honoring Mrs. Jones as her pall bearers will be Dr. Jason Robertson, Brian Goodwin, Cody Goodwin, Zac Milam, Aiden Robertson, and Casey Whitehead.
