Mary Nell Nix, age 79 of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Nix was born April 5, 1938 in Stephens, Arkansas to O.E. "Buddy" and Carnell Plumley Cox.

Mrs. Nix was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Nix; daughter, Carala Castor; one brother and two sisters.

She is survived by two grandsons, Rodney Castor and wife, Kayla of Mena, AR and Chad Castor and wife, Dezzarai of Siloam Springs, AR; two great grandsons, Hayden and Harlin; one great granddaughter, Tatum; one sister, Lila Mae Saxon of Magnolia, AR; and several other family members.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:30pm Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps, AR with Bro. William Willis officiating under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR. Online registration is available at www.aosmithfuneralhome.com.
