Mary LaRita Spruell, 84, of Bradley, Arkansas entered the arms of her Lord on Tuesday May 21, 2024. She was born on July 18, 1939, to Horace and Margaret Burks. LaRita was a member of Bradley Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, playing the piano, gardening, cooking, and reading. LaRita received the Bradley Chamber of Commerce Community Service Award in 2019. She was a charter member of the Bradley Chamber of Commerce. She will be missed by her family,  many friends, and her community.

Preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Margaret Burks; and brother, John Robert Burks.

Carrying on her legacy will be her spouse, Willie Spruell; daughters, Latetia Spruell of Bradley, Arkansas, and Dana (Eric) Paxton of Bossier City, Louisiana; son, Tim (Vickie) Spruell of Bradley, Arkansas; brother Tom (Carolyn) Burks of Texarkana, Arkansas; sister, LaVerne (Wayne) Keahey of Maumelle, Arkansas; grandson, Nicholas (Taylor) Spruell of Dallas, Texas; granddaughters, Erica Paxton (Bruno Karam) of Bothell, Washington, Emily (Weslie) Rhodes of Benton, Louisiana, Rachel (Justin) Mibb of Prairieville, Louisiana, Ashlyn Spruell of Bradley, Arkansas and Allison (Collin) Roberts of Bradley, Arkansas; greatgrandchildren, Graci Rhodes, Paxton Mibb, Jillian Rhodes, Lawson Mibb, Adabelle Mibb, Finn Rhodes, Rhett Roberts, and one on the way, Lyla Grace Roberts.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Bradley, Arkansas with Bro. Tommy Weems officiating. Services are under the direction of A O Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas.
