Mrs. Mattie Pearl Jones-Cooper passed away on August 16th, 2018 at Springhill Medical Center.  She was born August 1, 1937 to the late Rev. Willie and Mary Cade Jones.

She is survived by eight sons: Charles Eason of Alimony, TX, Leon Eason of Lewisville, AR, Earl (Betty) Eason, Jr. of Idabel, OK, Wendell (Jessie) Eason of Lewisville, AR, Freddie Eason of Lewisville, AR, Roy Eason of Broken Bow, OK, Nelson Eason of Lewisville, AR and Arthur (DeShante') of Texarkana, TX.

Seven daughters: Mary (Joe) Armstrong of Hope, AR, Dellar (Leonard) Brown of DeBerry TX, Margee Brown of Texarkana AR, Sandra (Mark) Hamilton of Lewisville AR, Diana Eason of Lewisville, AR, Ruby Eason (Phillip) White of Lewisville, AR and Daisy (LaRon) Lewis of Hope AR.
Three sisters: Paula (Alex) Hall of California, Margie Jones-Ellis of Richmond CA and Geraldine Robin (Steven) Brown of Dallas TX.

She had a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Services will be held at Smith Funeral Home Chapel, 415 East First Street in Stamps AR, Saturday August 25th 2018 at 11:00 AM.  Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bradley, AR under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, AR.

Visitation will be on Friday August 24,2018 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel 415 First Street in Stamps AR from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM
