Obituary

Mrs. Maxine Ivers Stewart, age 84 of Lewisville, Arkansas went to be with Jesus on Sunday,
February 14, 2016. She was born on Thursday, October 1, 1931 to Pierce and Eva Ivers in
Lewisville, Arkansas. Mrs. Maxine was a faithful member of Piney Grove Baptist Church in
Lewisville for over 50 years. She enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was working in her yard or
fishing the area creeks and lakes. Some of her favorite fishing locations included 27 Cut Off
Lake, Bois d' Arc Lake, and "The Bridge". She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren, and greatly enjoyed spending time with her large extended family.

She was preceded in death by 9 siblings, her parents, her husband, Mr Hoyt Stewart, and two
children, Gary Lyndon Stewart and infant daughter Judith Evon Stewart.

Mrs. Stewart is survived by son Randy and daughter-in-law, Leah Stewart of Lewisville AR, son
Kevin and daughter-in-law, Diane Stewart of West Monroe LA, daughter Carla Stewart of
Jacksonville AR, and daughter-in-law, Cindy Stewart of Beebe AR. She currently has 9
grandchildren: Chris and Angela Stewart of Beebe AR, Scotty Stewart of Newport AR, Brindy
and Tim Richardson of Ward AR, Ashley Stewart of Minneapolis MN, Bradley Stewart of
Hollywood CA, Faith Stewart of Edmond OK, and Bethany Stewart of West Monroe LA. Mrs.
Stewart was blessed to know 4 greatgrandchildren, Dakota Stewart, Gracie Stewart, Jaden
Richardson, and Jace Richardson. She is survived by one brother and sister- in- law, Fred and
Christine Ivers of Lewisville AR, one sister, Eva Clark of Red Bluff CA, and one sister-in-law,
Linda Pine of Hope, AR. There are also many nieces, nephews, and great- nieces and great- nephews who will miss "Aunt Maxine".

Visitation was held on Tuesday evening, at Smith Funeral Home in Stamps AR. Funeral
Services will be at 2pm on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Piney Grove Baptist Church in
Lewisville AR. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery in Lewisville.
The family of Mrs. Maxine would like to thank the church family at Piney Grove Baptist Church as
well as the rest of the community for their much needed prayers and support during this time.
We would also like to thank the nurses and staff of Serenity Hospice who assisted Mrs. Maxine
