Melanie Ann Payne, 47, of Taylor, Arkansas passed away on April 8, 2021 at her home. She was born October 21, 1973 in Bossier City, Louisiana to Harold and Margie Dyer Payne. Melanie loved her family, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and she loved sports; especially volleyball and softball.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Merrill and Audna Payne and maternal grandparents, Lee and Clifford Dyer.

Melanie is survived by her parents; brother, Dwayne Payne; sister, Pam Reynolds; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends; and fur baby Montgomery.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Stateline Cemetery with Bro. Phillip Carroll officiating under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Smith Chapel in Taylor from 6:00P.M.-8:00P.M.

Pallbearers will be Doran McQueary, Pat Vance, Eddie Horton, Steve Reynolds, Andy Hayden and Brandon McClelland.
