Mrs. Melvin Lee Jones 89, of Buckner, Arkansas, passed away on June 28, 2020.  She was born to late A. G. McGee and Lucille Wheeler Mc Gee in McKamie, Arkansas.  Ms. Melvin was married to the late Eddie Dean Jones. She is survived by: six sons Douglas Mc Gee of Grandfield, CA, Matthew Sterling of Stamps, AR, Johnny (Alverdia) Jones of Missouri, TX, Eddie (Kathy) Jones of Texarkana, AR, Darnell Jones of Texarkana, AR, Billy (Tyris) Jones of Stamps, AR; one daughter Marilyn (Jesse) Chappel of Magnolia, AR a host of grandchildren,  great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren  and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at Buckner Community Cemetery on Friday, July 3, 2020, at 11 a.m. in Buckner, Arkansas with Rev. Fred Jackson officiating under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps-415 East First Street.

Viewing and signing of the guest book will be Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
