Michael "Mike" Morehead, age 66, of Buckner, Arkansas passed away August 20, 2020 at his home.  He was born February 13, 1954 in Magnolia, Arkansas to Arthur and Melba Morehead.  Mike was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.  Mike loved fishing, mowing, playing rook, domino's and watching drag racing.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; step mother, Betty Morehead and niece, Kimberly Britt.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Morehead; four sons, Joey Morehead and wife, Kerri, Scott Morehead and wife, Katie and Craig Morehead all of Magnolia and Andy Knighton and wife Casey of Lamartine, AR; two daughters, Rebecka Lewis and Angel Schrupp and husband Adam of Buckner, AR; two sisters, Rhonda Dyer and husband, Jerry of Springhill, LA and Michelle Wicker and husband Shon of Jacksonville, NC; eight grandchildren, Dylan Morehead,of Buckner, AR Jeremy Gunter, Peyton Morehead, Brody Morehead, Cameron Knighton, Madeline Morehead, Erica Schrupp, and Blakeley Schrupp; one great grandson, Zeke Gunter and a special friend, Connie Walker.

Graveside services will be held 10AM, Monday, August 24, 2020 at Buckner Memorial Cemetery in Buckner, AR with Bro. Charlie Warren and Bubba Wells officiating under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes.  Visitation will be held Sunday, August 23, 2020 at the A.O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel from 5PM-8PM.
