Michael "Mikey" James York, age 52 of Jacksonville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016. Mr. York was born August 29, 1963 in Myrtle Beach AFB, South Carolina. He was a lifetime member of the United States Bowling Congress. He was an avid bowler and golfer and proudly won four 300 Award Rings and two 800 Award Rings. He served in the United States Air Force as a Nuclear Weapons Specialist from June 1981-March 1987.

Mr. York is survived by his father, James York and wife, Emily of Jacksonville, AR; mother, Alice York of Jacksonville, AR; two brothers, Roger York and Charles Gurunian, Jr. both of Jacksonville, AR; two sisters, Susan Tanner of North Little Rock, AR and Armanda Rawdon and husband, Jeffrey of Jacksonville, AR; best friends, Joe Simpson and Wayne Milligan; and special friend, Kathy Buchler.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR with Chaplin Kevin McGee officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps.
