Myrth Jean Clark, age 97, of, Stamps Arkansas, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the Magnolia Health and Rehabilitation Center in Magnolia, AR.
Mrs. Clark was born April 3, 1920 in Rosston, Arkansas to Herbert Ether and Coy Lucille (Adkins) Herring. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Stamps, enjoyed cooking, which she was very good at, never using a recipe, always enjoyed singing gospel songs, reading, crocheting, and going out to eat with her Sunday school class.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Odowell Clark; three sons, Larry Clark, Randall Clark, and Andy Clark; three brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by five daughters, Marilyn Matthews, and husband Dan of Magnolia, AR, Cindy Williams, and Husband Dwayne, of Bryan, TX, Glenda McMahen, and husband John of Red Oak, TX, Janice Johnson of Fort Worth, TX, and Debbie Clark of Stamps, AR; two sisters, Ruth Watkins and Drusilla Fairchild; eighteen grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00PM, Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Patmos, AR with Bro. Mike Turner and Bro. Kenneth Bobo officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2018, from 10:00AM until 11:30AM at Smith Funeral Home, on Thomas Street, in Stamps, AR.
