Nannie Lee Hicks, age 90, of Rosston, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019.  She was born April 2, 1929 in Willisville, Arkansas to Lee and Lizzie Martin.   She was a member of Union Baptist Church.  Mrs. Hicks enjoyed crocheting and quilting.

Mrs. Hicks was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Rosie Martin; husband, Thomas Hicks; son, James Hicks; daughter, Barbara Ward; sister, Marie Hicks and four brothers, O'Neil, Bob, Billy and Lee Martin, Jr.

She is survived by one son, Tommy Hicks and wife, Joyce of Rosston, AR; two daughters, Janice Tippitt and husband, Pete of Prescott, AR and Brenda Hicks of Hope, AR; three brothers, Dale Martin and wife, Shirley of Laneburg, AR, Richard Martin and wife, Brenda and Johnny Martin and wife, Peggy all of Kale, AR; four sisters, Mary Cearly of Hope, AR, Rosey Raines of Kale, AR, Vicky Bailey and husband, John of Stephens, AR and Betty Winters and husband, Tom of Camden, AR; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2PM, Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Union Baptist Church in Rosston, AR with Bro. Joe Brown officiating.  Interment will follow at Union Cemetery under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes.  Visitation will be held 6PM-8PM, Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps.
