Nelda Jo Perkison, age 66 of Buckner, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Baptist Health Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Perkison was born November 19, 1948 in Magnolia, Arkansas to Curtis Clifton and Marie Chastain. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Stamps. Nelda enjoyed crocheting and dearly loved her grandchildren.

Mrs. Perkison was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, George Perkison of Buckner, AR; three sons, Rance Perkison and wife, Laura of Buckner, AR, Slade Perkison and wife, Kim also of Buckner, and Lane Perkison and wife, Michelle of Stamps, AR; brother, Rodney Chastain and wife, Joan of Baton Rouge, LA; five grandchildren, Meridith, Khloe, Kade, Owen, and Alli; and numerous friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR with Bro. Justin Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in McKamie, AR. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps.
