Neoma Short, 95, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014 , in England, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, husbands John Shaw and Robert Short, and daughter Edith Shaw.

Born in Oklahoma, she was a long-time resident of Buckner, Ar., where she was a homemaker, an active member of the Methodist church, and served as the mayor of Buckner.

Survivors are Johnny (Sara) Shaw of England, Ar. ; Terry Short of Anchorage, Alaska ; Nancy (Jimmy Don) Jackson of Searcy, Ar.; Sallie Delvecchio of Riverdale, N.J.; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Buckner Cemetery at 1:00 on Saturday, March 22, 2014, with Bro. Mark Rivers officiating under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR . Online registration is available at www.aosmithfuneralhome.com .
