Nicholas Kade Strickland was born on July 27, 1991 in Texarkana Texas. He is the son of Shawnn and Melissa Strickland of Taylor, AR.

He is preceded in death by his Paw, Ralph West, Great Uncle, JJ Spakes, and special friends, Justin and Mike Smith.

He is survived by his parents; brother, Lain Strickland of Magnolia, AR; sister, Karlee Strickland of Magnolia, AR; Nanny, Becky West of Garland City, AR; Beautiful Aunt, Chasey and husband Sam O'Donnell of Magnolia, AR; Juju, Julia Spakes of Garland City, AR; Grandfather, Michael Strickland and wife Gail of Hot Springs Village, AR; Grandmother, Nelda White and husband Roy of Magnolia, AR; Aunt, Amy Watkins and husband Josh of Magnolia, AR, Aunt, Miranda Jackson and husband Troy of Bryant, AR, Uncle, Coby White and wife Nichole of Mt. Pleasant, TX; and a host of cousins he loved dearly. He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Makayla McCoy, who he loved with everything he had.

Kade lived a life full of adventure and was a friend to everyone he met. He spent many years as a kid running around Rawls Creek Deer Camp. In his teenage years, he was an excellent athlete. He excelled both on the grid iron and the baseball field. After high school, he took up a huge love for the outdoors. He spent his adult life working and spending as much time as possible with family and friends.

To know Kade was to love him. He lived life wide open and never met a stranger. He had a passion for helping others and was an active member of the Lewisville Volunteer Fire Department. He touched many lives in his thirty years and his legacy will live on through all that knew him.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 21, at 10:00 a.m. at The Cotton Gin in Garland City, AR, 102 HWY 134 Garland City, AR under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Downs, Trey Endsley, Brad Lloyd, Alex Wright, Zach Wilbur, Mark Pickard, Mitch Hall, Clay Cheatham, Jonathon Barton, and Evan McCrary.

Honorary pallbearers will be Elliott Electric Employees, Kolten McCoy, Bodie Phillips, Reece Endsley, Dylan Spence, Dylan Brownmiller, Evan Babb, Joey Price, Corey Powell, Kelby Powell, Todd Powell, Grayson Nichols, Jermarius Davis, Jeremy Brent, Wayne McKamie, Ryan Modisette, Jordan Porter, Jordan Drake and his beloved cousins.
