Oliver Ward Redmon, age 96, of Bradley, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014, at his home.
Mr. Redmon was born May 29, 1917, in Lewisville, Arkansas, to Reginald and Maggie Redmon. He was a retired farmer and farm mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 54 years, Charlene Redmon; one son, James Redmon; and a daughter, Regina.
Survivors include sons, Averial Redmon and wife, Martha of Taylor, Arkansas, Vince Redmon and wife, Eileen of Bradley, Arkansas; one brother, George Redmon and wife, Mary of Camden, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Knighton's Chapel Cemetery in Lewisville, Arkansas. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
