Ozell Arlis Tatom, age 89 of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017. Mr. Tatom was born March 30, 1927 in Nevada County to Richard Carrol and Effie Wheelington Tatom.

Mr. Tatom was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Ovlen Tatom, Otra Tatom, Otis Tatom, and Odell Tatom; and two sisters, Velta Camp Andrews and Viniegee Rogers.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Pauline "Polly" Tatom of Stamps, AR; two sons, Terry Tatom and wife, Cathy and Steven Tatom all of Stamps; two daughters, Linda Alford and husband, Bruce of Lewisville, AR and Penny Cox and husband, Arval of Buckner, AR; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and special friend, Latresa Sterling-Parrish "Lil Moma".

A Graveside Service will be held at 10am Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Sardis Cemetery with Bro. Charlie Warren officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Harley, Travis, Jerry, Dustin, Tyler, and Jeremy. Honorary Pallbearers will be grandson-in-laws. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, AR.
