Obituary

Patrick Brett Walker of Hot Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Stamps, suddenly departed this earthly life with his normal dramatic fashion at high noon on December 31, 2019.  The middle child of L. D. and Diane Watson Walker, Brett came into this world on November 4, 1961 at the Lafayette Memorial Hospital in Lewisville, Arkansas.

Brett was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Stamps, a Boy Scout, and a 1980 graduate of Stamps High School.  He was a natural athlete and participated in football, baseball and track.  He attended Southern Arkansas University before joining the workforce in the oil and gas industry as roughneck where he worked for many years.

He was one of a kind and there will never be another like him.  He was in a good place in his life and that's why God decided to take him now.  To quote his favorite niece, "He's got a whole new group of people to entertain now."

Brett is predeceased by his parents.  His survivors include two daughters, Lillie Diane Walker and Brettney Skky Walker, of Georgia; a brother, David Walker of Arkansas and his favorite sister, Julia and brother-in-law Steve Whitehead of Magnolia; one niece Anna Whitehead and two nephews Will Whitehead and Sam Whitehead and his loyal, lifelong friend and protector, ZiZi.
