Raymond Adams, age 72, of Bradley, Arkansas went to his heavenly home on Saturday, December 15, 2018, after a sudden illness. He passed away at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Adams was born November 14, 1946 in Bradley, AR to Sylvester Kenneth and Mary Ellen (Pauley) Adams.

Mr. Adams loved spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, gardening and raising chickens. He attended J bar C Cowboy Church and was a past Boy Scouts leader.

Mr. Adams is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Wise Adams; two sons, Ray Adams and wife Tonya, and Harvey Adams; daughter, Mary Adams, all of Bradley, AR; special friend, Stephen Stough; sister, Lillie Davidson, of Nashville, AR; brother, James Adams, of Ashland, La; grandchildren, Jordan Griffin, Lane Henderson, Catherine Smith, Treasure Adams, Diana Adams, Chris Standing, Xadier Standing, Mary Phillips, Brandon Burton, James Burks, and Tabitha Sawyer;
Great-granddaughter, Adalyynne Rayne, and many more who called him "papaw".
Raymond is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Son, Chris Adams; Daughter, Rachel Adams; brothers, William, Bill, Rudolph, Foy, and Kenneth Adams; and sisters, Hazel Dyer and Cynthia Richardson.

Honoring Mr. Adams as his pallbearers are, Catherine Smith, Jordan Griffin, Brandon Burton, Steven Stacy, Lane Henderson, and James Burks. His honorary pallbearers are Eddie Adams and Steven Stough

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 2:00PM at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Bradley, AR, with Bro. Gregary Boyet, officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the A.O. Smith funeral home Chapel in Bradley, AR, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
