Regina Jo Torres, 55, of Trinidad, Colorado passed away on October 19, 2023. She was born January 20, 1968, to A.A. "Knot" Woodell and Linda Sue (Woodell) Cole. Regina enjoyed life with great passion and always had a smile for her friends and family.  She loved the familiarity of small-town life and took great pleasure looking for wildlife as she took long nature drives through the ranch.  Although she wasn't a golfer herself, she did see the course as a second home.  She spent hours on the fairways and greens organizing golf events, cheering on her husband, and mentoring her granddaughter.  She was most proud of bringing the first Trinidad Ladies Annual Golf Tournament from a vision to a reality.  Her greatest accomplishment and passion, however, was being a "Grammy" to her beloved grandchildren.

Regina was preceded in death by her mom, dad, and step-dad, Don Cole.  She is survived by her husband, Rick Torres, her sister Twila Needham, and her brother, Alex Woodell.  She is blessed with two sons and daughters-in-law: Alex and Brandi Boyette of Tulsa, OK; Garrison and Kaelyn Boyette of Trinidad, CO; and one step-son, Isaac Torres of Lakewood, CO. She has three beautiful granddaughters, Lilly, Taylor, and Aria, and two grandsons, Cadence and Jaxton.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at The Historic Trinidad Golf Course Clubhouse.  A social hour with food and family will follow.
