Joel Reeves, 74, of Buckner, Arkansas passed away July 16, 2020 at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He was born in Buckner, Arkansas on October 29, 1945 to Curtis and Mary Ruth Eddy Reeves.  Mr. Reeves loved his family; he enjoyed storytelling and pranking the grandkids.  He was the owner of Joel Reeves, CPA, where he filed his client's taxes for 53 years, with 2020 being the first year not filing their taxes. Joel was the treasurer of Buckner Memorial Cemetery.  He also funded an accounting scholarship at SAU.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert (Bubba) Reeves; and grandson, Jason Alan Collmorgen.

Mr. Reeves is survived by two sons, Matt Reeves of Buckner, AR and Mike Reeves and wife, Amy of Hot Springs, AR; daughter, Millie Robertson and husband, Randy of Little Rock, AR; eight grandchildren, Colten and Coby Reeves of Benton, AR, Cameron and Katie Reeves of Hot Springs, AR, Eli and Ellie Robertson of Little Rock, AR and Ty and Tara Reeves of Buckner, AR.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM, Sunday, July 19, 2020 at A.O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps with Bro. Davis Watkins officiating.  Interment will follow at Buckner Memorial Cemetery in Buckner, AR under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home.  Visitation will be 4PM-8PM, Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Hanh Nguyen, Colten Reeves, Coby Reeves, Ty Reeves, Jeff Reeves and Leroy Reeves.
