Robbie Nan Jackson Goodner, 71 of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at her residence. She was born May 1, 1953, in Hope, Arkansas to William Youman and Lou Etta Jackson.
Robbie enjoyed traveling, participating in car shows and watching the Kansas City Chiefs with her best friend and husband of 42 years, Mike Goodner. She also loved watching hummingbirds every spring. You could often find her watching true crime in her favorite recliner.
Robbie was a woman of true joy with a laugh that was contagious. She was there for so many of her friends and family throughout the years and she never met a stranger.
She worked and retired from the State of Arkansas after 21 years of service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Texarkana, (Moore's Lane) since 2010. She was a woman of strong unwavering faith that walked with Lord for over 62 years. Her life was a testament of surrender to Jesus Christ and residing peace. Now her faith has been realized and sealed as she has been brought home to her Savior.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, William Youman and Lou Etta Jackson.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Lee Goodner of Texarkana, Arkansas. One daughter Kimberlee Goodner of Texarkana, Arkansas. Two brothers, Barry Jackson (Carolyn) of Patmos, Arkansas and Richard Jackson (Jane) of Hope, Arkansas. Three sisters, Sandra Patterson (Les) of Hope, Arkansas, Mary Beth Murray of Nashville, Arkansas and Daris Patrick of Atlanta, Texas. Two brothers in laws, Mark Goodner of Hope, Arkansas and Horace Goodner (Wanda) of Waldo, Arkansas. Two aunts, Hazel Marie Waddell (Ed) of Little Rock, Arkansas. And Helen Jackson of Texarkana, Arkansas. Special friend, Linda Bell and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.
Memorial services will be 10A.M. Friday, February 28, 2025, at the A.O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Chris Schroeder officiating under direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, Arkansas.
Visitation will be from 9A.M. until 9:45A.M. Friday, February 28, 2025, at the A.O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, Arkansas.
