Robert H. (Bob) Russell passed away at home surrounded by family on Monday, September 12, 2016. He was born on September 29, 1929 in Hope, Arkansas to Mildred Davis Russell and Henry Fears Russell. Mr. Russell was a thirty second degree Mason and a former Barak Shriner. He served our country in the U.S. Airforce during WWII. He worked for John Deere Plow Company in Texas and Scott Truck & Tractor in Monroe, LA as Credit Manager for Scott's Finance Company. He was retired from Walnut Hill Telephone Company and worked as a locksmith for many years.

Mr. Russell was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James G. Russell and David L. Russell; and one sister, Juanita Russell Thomas.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Marie M. Russell; one daughter, Cindy Russell Fleming and husband, Randy, of Lafayette, LA; grandchildren, Breean Fleming Moody and husband, Daren and Landon Fleming; three great grandchildren, Jack, Mae, and Estella Moody all of West Monroe, LA; special nephew, Gary Russell; and three special cousins, Billy Goza, Leslie and Hope Fallin.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR with Bro. Charlie Zumwalt officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery.
