Mr. Roosevelt Williams

(May 9, 1934 – February 28, 2021)

Mr. Roosevelt Williams 86 of Doddridge Arkansas passed away at St. Michaels Hospital on February 28, 2021.  He was an active member of the New Hope Baptist Church until his heath started to fail for more than 50 years and a retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber after 29 years of employment.

He was born to the late Mr. K.P. Williams and Mrs. Lillie Mae Evans Williams on May 9, 1934.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his wife of almost 40 years Mrs. Daretha Williams.

He is survived by his children.  His sons, Derell (Teresa) Williams) of Doddridge, Arkansas, Charles Drake of Texarkana, Texas, Timothy (Pattie) Belford of Killeen Texas and a daughter Carolyn (Gerald) Miller of Plano Texas.  Five brothers, Eugene Williams of Kansas City Missouri, Audentry Williams of California Earl Williams of Kansas City Missouri and Henry Williams of Little Rock, Arkansas.  He has a host of grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside Service will be held at New Hope Cemetery of Doddridge, Arkansas at 1:00 pm Friday March 5, 2021 with Rev. David Boone serving and the Officiant and Eulogist.  Service will be under the direction of Smith Funeral Home 415 East First Street Stamps, AR

Visitation will be Smith Funeral Home Thursday March 4, 2021 from 1:00 until 4:00 PM.
