Roy Maurice Rogers, 97, of Bradley, Arkansas passed away August 6, 2021 at his home.  He was born October 28, 1923 in Stephens, Arkansas to Roy E. and Lois Wilson Rogers.  He served in the United States Army during World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge under the command of General George S. Patton.  He received a good conduct medal and four Bronze Service Stars.  Roy also received The Legion of Honor, the highest French order of merit.  Mr. Rogers  was owner of Rogers Industries Incorporated  that was part of the LP Gas and Mobile Products for 35 years.  He was a member of the Bradley Baptist Church where he was a deacon for over 30 years. He was a Master Mason, a lifetime member of the American Legion and the Bradley fire chief for 14 years. Roy enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved the Arkansas Razorbacks, but his favorite past-time was watching the Bradley Bears basketball, baseball and softball teams.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Roy Michael Rogers; two brothers, Bill Rogers and Bob Rogers; two grandsons, Michael Wayne Matlock and William Brodie Palmer and one granddaughter, Abra Michelle Tencer.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Dianne Rogers of Bradley, AR; one son, Roy Edward Graefe and wife Terry of Grandview, TX; two stepsons, Bruce Cartwright of Bradley, AR and Russell B. Cartwright and wife Aileen of Lee Summit, MO; one stepdaughter, Robin Cartwright Tencer of Bradley, AR; four sisters, Lorene Cheatham of Smackover, AR, Nancy Smith and husband Denny of Little Rock, AR, Sally McLaurin of Vivian, LA and Nell Chanell and husband Truman of El Dorado, AR; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Pallbearers will include Ken Allen, Paul Allen, Jimmy Brackman, Stephen Burton, Brady Gore and Randell Stewart.

Honorary pallbearers will be his Bradley Baptist Mens Sunday School class and his fellow deacons.

Funeral services will be held 10A.M. Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Bradley Baptist Church in Bradley, Arkansas with Bro. Lloyd Farmer officiating under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Bradley.

Visitation will be from 8:30A.M until 10A.M. Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Bradley Baptist Church.
